Bauer Style

Lonny Magazine

The newest issue of Lonny Magazine has hit the web and like a good bottle of wine it just gets better with time. On the cover and featured is Kate Spade's co-president and creative director, Deborah Lloyd and her upstate New York vacation home. She is so intriguing as is her home which ties into her English heritage...another post on the horizon indeed.
Over the past week I have been browsing the pages, looking through the products and there is such a feeling of nostalgia that comes over me! One being that the big void Domino magazine left is actually being filled and the next is hopefully we are coming around in the design community from the economic hardships of the last couple of years.

Elizabeth Bauer

Elizabeth Bauer is a designer and owner of a retail store Elizabeth Bauer Design New York, NY featured in this month's Lonny Magazine. She describes her style as "modern with a traditional silhouette" and has a fondness for Lucite and glass.
Her NY apartment is featured in this month's issue and the pictures of her bedroom with the zebra wallpaper "Zebrine" by Rose Cumming are tres chic...ooh la la!
Mrs. Bauer has the talent of a by gone era and you can be sure I will visit her store next time I am in the Big Apple.
