Beauty Abounds

Miles Redd

Classic and beautiful with Southern charm.
"Boxwood" is the stunning 1920's Georgian Style Atlanta home of Danielle and Glenn Rollins as shown in this month's Town and CountryMiles Redd the brilliant, charismatic Atlanta
raised, New York based, interior designer who brought the house to its original grandeur along with the Rollins.
Brilliant blues, greens, turquoise and reds are a theme throughout the home with accents in camels, shades of orange and animal prints abound. This home reminds me of 2 other favorite interiors and that is of Aerin Lauder and her homes in the Hamptons and Manhattan. They both seem to have a similar luscious color palette, brilliant accessories and very tasteful owners..tres chic, magnificent!

The family living room with rich browns, blues and caramel-colored calfskin chairs.

Below the blue lacquered bar with a painted zodiac ceiling inspired by "Manhattan's Grand Central Terminal" and astrological lantern by Visual Comfort.

Brilliant red paints the lacquered walls of the study with shelves trimmed in brass as a tribute to the iconic New York City library designed by Albert Hadley for Brooke Astor.

The "bird room" with wallpaper from the original owner.

Rollins breath of fresh air romantic master bathroom with Tarentelle wallpaper by Boussac.

The dressing room with wallpaper by de Gournay and masterfully patched together fawn-colored pony skin rug...a little slice of decor heaven!

Under foot in the bedroom is an Oscar de la Renta leopard print carpet and walls in the color "chocolate milk"...enough said.

A pagoda like entrance.

Mr. Rollins and a Koi pond added to the restored 30's era grounds of "Boxwood"

Here are a few more splendid images from Miles Redd for your inspiration...enjoy!
