Pretty in Pink

                                                 Fresh Peonies My Love

Katie Lee's beautiful pink peonies

On this rainy but yet beautiful day...because my flowers desperately need the water and they are happily smiling at me now, I am feeling shades of pink! Shades of happiness, for life, love and all things good. Last was a great week and a great weekend! When I have more time I am going to fill you in on 2 awesome businesses that I had the pleasure of of attending, one last week, the other last night, both involving wine (always a good thing) and very smart individuals with unique business ventures...stay tuned!

I know you are wondering but these are my latest find and they will be reupholstered, possibly painted and for sale, price yet to be determined as to whether they are painted. There are 4 charming chairs perfect in in any breakfast area or use your imagination and see where it will take you!

This is the lovely F Schumacher fabric Good Day Sunshine that the chairs will be reupholstered with. Let me know if you are interested in the chairs or just the fabric. I have 3 yards of it available to anyone who contacts me first!

I do have to share one more precious find from the weekend, hence maybe that is what all the pink came from although I can't part this....maybe?

Have you ever?

Seen anything this precious?
Well maybe until you see this cute dress from Beanie & Cecil Baby www.beanieandcecilbaby.com . Better hurry, there are only 3 and the soft soft cotton voile fabric will make your heart melt for a wee little one.

I took my cutie little man to the Cupcake Shoppe on Glenwood Avenue Saturday for a treat and I always pick the pink one with the icing which is in my opinion the BEST!
They always have the best displays and whoever hand makes their pretend cupcakes that my kids try to eat every time, kudos to you!

Every time I go to the Cupcake Shoppe I think of my daughter's favorite book Pinkalicious by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann. A friend gave it to us a few years ago and it is still a nightly read. Pinkilicious loves pink, everything pink, cupcakes included and eats so many she turns pink! You will have to read the book to find out what she does to turn back to her normal color. A dear, dear read, so sweet just like those pink cupcakes I wish I had now!

The night is late but I want to leave you with some of my favorite pink decor girls and their versions of PINK!
